PRIVACY POLICY

Prayer Push Privacy PolicyLast Updated: 01/10/2017

Prayer Push, Ltd. (collectively “PrayerPush.org” or “Prayer Push” or “PP” or “Website” or “us”) is a Christian ministry that sends a daily prayer to our members’ private email addresses so they can pray with other Christians each day. Our organization is committed to your privacy. This Privacy Policy is to inform our users of the information that we collect, utilize and share. If you have any questions about this policy or our privacy practices, please contact us. Our contact information is provided to you at the end of this policy.

Information Collected

There are various types of information that PP collects when you register with, interact with, or access PrayerPush.org. Some of this information is provided voluntarily by you and other information is provided through automated processes under PP’s control.

1. Information Provided By You

When you register with Prayer Push you voluntarily provide information that identifies who you are. That information may include but is not limited to your name, postal address, phone number, email address, date of birth, marital status, gender and other demographic information. This data is handled and hosted by a third party.

In addition to personally identifiable information (“PII”) provided during the PP registration process, you may also provide PP PII during the following representative classes of interactions:

Requesting customer support and sending PP similar communications; Signing up for PP email alerts, newsletters, and similar special offers; Making donations to PP; Ordering products or services made available by PP; Responding to PP surveys and other special information requests; and Communications regarding PP’s compliance with applicable laws.

The above list is not exhaustive, but is merely representative of classes of interactions, all of which are covered by this Policy.

2. Information Provided By Automated Processes

PP may automatically collect non-PII information when you interact with PP through our website or with a mobile device now or in the future. PP may use cookies, web beacons, log files and such similar methods to collect non-PII.

A cookie is data stored in a small text file on your local access device that contains data about you. The information in the cookie is used to uniquely identify you and other PP users. The PP cookie contains a token that may be linked to secured PP databases in order to provide you an enhanced feature set on the PP website. It identifies a particular user at a particular point in time. You have the option of resetting your browser to reject cookies. If you choose to do so some PP functionality may not be available.

PP may collect non-PII through the use of web beacons and log files. TCP/IP (“IP”) addresses are examples of non-PII. An IP address is a way to uniquely identify a computer. PP may use IP addresses for analyzing Website usage (e.g. tracking user movement throughout the site) and for aggregating user metrics. PP may also use IP addresses for gathering broad information and for aggregate analytics (e.g. trend analysis). PP may collect, in addition to IP addresses, browser type and other related information. Likewise, PP may collect status information regarding whether or not you opened an email, or other communications, received from us.

PP may also use web beacons to enable communications with third parties. A web beacon is a small image in an HTML page with all dimensions set to one (1) pixel. Because of its insignificant size, it is not visible; but it is used to pass certain non-PII anonymously to third-party sites.

Implications Regarding Collected Information

PP collects information in order to provide you with a high quality user experience and to offer a personalized feature set. When information is collected and retained it is done so in order to enhance your usage of our Website. Backup copies of collected information may be kept for a limited time in order to provide information restoration services where appropriate.

Any improper, illegal or misuse of information provided on, or to, PP, violates the Prayer Push Terms of Use Agreement and is a serious matter that should be reported by any user who is a witness thereto. Violations of PP’s Privacy Policy should be reported to privacy@prayerush.org.

Finally, use of PP’s Website implies your consent to have your PII and non-PII (i.e. any data provided to PP) stored, transferred and processed within the United States.

Choices Regarding the Use of Information

PP is the sole owner of the information collected on this Website and will not sell, rent or share the information collected in a manner that differs from what is disclosed in this Policy. Information is collected at different points in this Website and all of it is subject to this Policy.

PP provides you control over the personally identifiable information (“PII”) that you voluntarily provide to us on this Website. PII may include your name, date of birth, gender, email address, mailing address, zip code, gender, and other such information that is provided by you to PP during our initial registration process, or subsequent to it.

PP is diligent in ensuring that it has taken all appropriate administrative and technical measures to prevent the unauthorized or unlawful use of your PII, and to prevent any accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, such information.

Use of Information

PP uses the information that it collects about you to improve your browsing experience and also to select content and services that you may find interesting and useful. Information about the content you visit and services you use may be used alone or in conjunction with information collected from other users to help modify this Website. Information that you provide may also be used as part of PP’s effort to keep you informed about services that may be of interest to you, such as a Prayer Push event within your zip code.

Sharing of Information

Any PII provided will not be shared with third parties, without your permission, for any purpose other than those enumerated below. PP reserves the right to share with third parties aggregated non-PII for the purpose of compiling information that is relevant to the interests of the PP membership.

PP, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to disclose any information that it obtains through this Website to appropriate governmental or regulatory authorities or governmental agencies, if required by law. Likewise, PP, at its sole discretion, may share any information collected, stored and processed, if it has a good faith belief that to do so is reasonably necessary to (1) enforce its Terms of Use; (2) detect, investigate and otherwise address fraud, security or technical breaches or related matters; or (3) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of PP, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.

PP will share transaction information with our third party payment processor (“Paypal”) when you make a donation or purchase products that PP makes available on this Website. The information shared with Paypal is limited to such information as required by Paypal to complete the transaction. PP does not capture or store the financial information (e.g. your credit card number) provided by you to Paypal. PP only stores the results of said transactions as provided via notification from Paypal, for the sole purpose of internal recording keeping and compliance with applicable law.

Security of Information

Any information sent to PP through Internet e-mail or through this Website is not secure and is done so on a non-confidential basis. Therefore, any information you send PP over the Internet, either through this Website or via email, is done at your own risk. However, once such information is received, PP takes appropriate security measures to prevent its unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction. These measures include periodic review of internal processes, and benchmarking of the same with industry best practices. Access to PII is restricted to PP employees, contractors, and agents on a need to know basis.

Data integrity

PP processes PII only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with the provisions in this Policy. Reasonable steps are taken to ensure the quality of the PII that PP collects processes and stores. However, PP also depends on its users to keep their PII current and accurate. PP conducts periodic reviews to ensure that only the PII required to improve its services is collected and stored. The maintenance of data quality is a joint collaborative effort between PP and PP members.

PP may delete data, from time to time, upon the request of an individual user. However, PP requires that a user present proper credentials for identification before honoring all such requests. Good faith attempts are made to work with individual users regarding data related issues. However, PP reserves the right to refuse such requests when they prove unduly burdensome and/or are impractical. Finally, PP will not delete data required to be kept by applicable law or data kept for legitimate business reasons.

Protecting Children

If you are under the age of 16, you must ask your parent or guardian before you contact Prayer Push, request information from Prayer Push or make a donation to Prayer Push.

If you suspect that your child, who is under the age of 16, has registered on PP, you can request that any such information be immediately deleted from PP’s records by sending an email to: privacy@prayerpush.org, or by contacting PP via the contact information provided below in the “Contact Us” section. PP will promptly respond to any such notification, and upon verification, immediately delete the information in question.

Links

The PP Website contains hyperlinks to other third-party websites that may collect or solicit information. Our Privacy Policy does not cover information collected or solicited by these third-party websites. PP is not responsible for the privacy practices of such sites. PP users are encouraged to pay attention when they leave the PP Website and to read the respective privacy policies of each website that collects personally identifiable information. This Policy only applies to information contained within the PP Website and related sub-domains.

Enforcement

Because we are committed to protecting our users’ personally identifiable information (PII), PP conducts periodic reviews of our internal processes to ensure that we remain in compliance with this Policy. Also, we will cooperate with the appropriate authorities to resolve any user complaints regarding the transfer of PII. However, PP will initially try to resolve the complaint with our respective user. Any formal complaints should be sent via mail or e-mail to the contact addresses provided below.

Policy Changes

In the future, we may make changes to our Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our privacy practices and user services. Our goal is to keep our users aware of what information we collect, use, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. Any time changes are made and posted to our site, the “last updated” date at the top of our Privacy Policy will be changed to reflect the last date changes were made.
